INGREDIENTS

4 medium yellow potatoes
1 tablespoon of oil
Salt to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

  1.  Slice the potatoes into thin slices using a mandolin or a sharp knife. Put the potatoes in a bowl of cold water and soak for at least 20 minutes.
  2. Drain the potatoes from the water using a colander. Dry well with paper towels. The more moisture you remove, the more fragile it will be.
  3. Season the potatoes with sea salt and olive oil. Place two layers of potatoes in an air fryer and bake at 200°F for 20 minutes.
  4. Add the French fries. Increase the heat to 400°F and cook for another 5 minutes.
