After years of being a smoothie junkie, I’ve found that the best way to add the needed thickness and fat to any blended mix is ​​coconut cream.

Just put a can of whole coconut milk in the fridge and let it cool for an entire day.

Then turn the can upside down and carefully open it with a can opener. The bottom of the canister is where the liquid is, while the cream hardens on top.
Pour the liquid outside to reserve for other recipes and you’re left with frosted cream that’s a delicious, dairy-free alternative to whipped cream.

Another addition to this smoothie is the avocado! As you know, avocado is a keto dieter’s best friend and can be even more beneficial for those of us who don’t eat dairy and are looking to increase the fat content of our meals.

The texture becomes smooth once blended and the avocado flavor is perfectly masked with two forms of dark chocolate!

You won’t even notice the avocado in this shake because you’ll be too busy enjoying chunks of low-carb chocolate chips.
One note about processing the shake for the perfect texture: Whisk the dry ingredients in a blender first, then add the other whipped ingredients.

This step is very important because it cuts the chocolate into small pieces while crushing the hemp seeds and softening the whole thing.

1/2 cup almond milk
1 ice cup
flake salt for garnish

In a high-capacity mixer, whisk together cocoa powder, dark chocolate, sweetener, and chopped hemp seeds to chop up the chocolate.
